Another Year Of Sketches Begin.

 Hello and welcome to our first challenge of 2026

We hope that all who celebrate had a joyous festive season and would like to wish you all the very best for the coming year.

We have two new sketches for you this month, along with a retro sketch.

You can enter up to three projects per month, so why not try out all three of our sketches? We would love to see your entries.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter our December Challenge during what, for many, is a very busy time.  We visited so many lovely cards on your sites, and now we'll be choosing our winners. On January 14th, we'll be back with another post announcing our winner and the Top 3 cards for the December challenge, along with some additional inspiration.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 December 2025 Challenge

 It's that time of the year!  Or it's getting to be anyway!  Kelly here from Southern Alberta, Canada and we are under a blanket of fresh snow!

Here's a photo from my front window.   

 

Although it was -22 C this morning, it is beautiful!  The mountains are so lovely this time of year so if you have a chance to visit Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise and area during the winter, I highly recommend.

SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY 2 NOVEMBER 2025 CHALLENGE

      Seasonal Greetings and Preparations

Good morning, my crafty friends. This is Kathie from New Zealand, and I am delighted to connect with you this month.  As the holiday season approaches, many of you are busy preparing for Christmas. This exciting time of year is filled with creative energy as you work on making cards, shopping for gifts, crafting your own presents, and planning your menus for the days leading up to Christmas, as well as for the big celebration itself. There is a palpable sense of anticipation as everyone gets ready to make the holiday special for their loved ones. 

A Glimpse Into Our Property

Today, I am delighted to share a couple of photos taken on our very own property, a place where we are truly fortunate to live. One of the highlights of our home is the large pond that I can see from my kitchen window. This pond is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs and has a variety of wildlife, creating a picturesque and peaceful view all year-round. We have a bridge that crosses the pond covered with Wisteria, which is in full bloom.  I just wish that it flowered all year.  The Water Lilies will be out soon.  One end of the pond is creamy pink, and the other end is red.  Believe it or not, we only live 1km from the high street shopping centre.

We'll be back on the 19th of November with October's winner and top 3, as well as inspiration from the design team.
